Eve

One of my fondest memories as a child was spending quality time with my grandfather. We had this amazing game called "the suitcase." He'd bring out a weathered suitcase overflowing with newspaper clippings - a treasure of text and images. Armed with scissors, colorful paper scraps, and glue, we'd spend hours crafting fantastical collages, moments filled with laughter and wonder that I continue to cherish. I miss him very much.

This fascination with found objects and the desire to create new narratives finds its way into: "Eve"

This experimental piece blends hand-drawn figures, AI, animation, and video. Eve stands at the center, a melancholic expression captured in a video loop.

Was Eden truly paradise? The story tells of abundance and perfection, yet within the narrative, a yearning for something more emerges. The forbidden fruit wasn't just about consciousness, but about the freedom to explore, to create, and to experience the world in all its messy, glorious complexity.

This is a part of a bigger project that explores the narratives of nine women from the Bible, reimagining them as individuals with their own stories to tell.
